Elin LMS

An AI-first LMS for training providers: create, manage and run e-learning courses while Elin simplifies operations and the integration with SENCE.

Training providers don't just need to deliver good courses. They also have to manage participants, progress, attendance and assessments, plus a set of technical requirements to report correctly to SENCE, the Chilean training regulator.

Elin exists to bring all of that into a single platform, with one important difference: it is being built AI-first.

The idea is that a provider can start from the material they already have — a PDF or a slide deck, say — and use AI to speed up building the course structure, modules, activities and assessments.

Then, while the course runs, Elin handles participants, progress and attendance, and aims to make the SENCE integration a natural consequence of running the course well, rather than another parallel administrative process.

What I'm building

  • Creating and managing e-learning courses
  • Participants, enrolments and progress
  • Attendance integrated with SENCE
  • Automatic progress reporting to SIC
  • Assessments and per-module tracking
  • AI-assisted course creation
  • Multi-provider / multi-tenant operation

From document to course

One of the ideas I find most interesting about Elin is cutting down the work it takes to get a course off the ground.

Instead of starting from an empty platform, the provider can hand over the content they already have and use AI to propose a first version of the course: objectives, modules, lessons, activities and assessments.

The AI does the first pass. A person reviews, corrects and approves.

PDF / PPT → AI → Structured course → Human review → Publication

SENCE without becoming a SENCE expert

The challenge isn't only building an LMS. Elin also has to sit correctly alongside SENCE's infrastructure.

That covers participant attendance records, the authentication required for sessions, and sending progress information from the LMS through to SIC.

The product goal is to hide that complexity behind a simple experience: the provider should be able to see what's fine, what's missing and what needs attention, without having to understand APIs, payloads or error codes.

What I'm working on now

Building Elin's core experience and closing out the technical layers needed to connect the LMS with SENCE's attendance and reporting processes.

The MVP priority is that a provider can set up their organisation, create a course, add participants and run the whole flow without relying on manual steps outside the platform.
